Verb is that word which shows an action, a position or a state.
EX- we read.
I have a pen.
we have a car
I am a teacher.
Kinds of Verb - 2
1. Principal Verb/Main Verb/Full Verb Principal verb is that word which has a perfect meaning in a sentence.
EX- we read.
I play.
2. Helping Verb/Auxiliary Verb
Helping Verb is that which helps the Principal verb to make a perfect meaning in a sentence.
EX- I am reading.
I have played.
Kinds of Principal Verb- 2
1. Transitive Verb
Transitive verb is that verb which has an object.
EX- I write a poem.
I write.
2. Intransitive Verb
Intransitive Verb is that Verb which has or no object.
EX- I laugh.
You read.

A. Regular / Week Verb
Regular Verb is that Verb of which root form is visible in all the forms.
EX- play played played
hear heared heared
learn learnt learnt
B. Irregular/Strong Verb
Irregular Verb is that Verb of which root form is not visible in the second or third form.
EX- go went gone
Dig dug dug
Swim swan swun
C. Independent Verb
Independent Verb is that Verb of which all the forms are same.
EX- cut cut cut
Shut shut shut
put put put
hit hit hit
